With such a privileged location at the heart of Dieppe, the whole city is within a walkable playground for guests. Within as short a distance as a 5-10 minute walk stands the busy port; from here, sight of fishing boats coming in and ferries setting off to England can duly invigorate. Quai Henri IV en face du port, bourre de super-restos de fruits de mer pour un diner inoubliable. A long pebble beach adjoins a wide seaside promenade just 10 minutes' walk from the hotel, and there is no better property for booking with intent to take an invigorating coastal walk.

You are right at the town’s commercial and historic center. Take just a few steps to the main pedestrian shopping street – Grande Rue, where you will find a mix of small boutiques and big national names. One of Normandy’s best Saturday morning markets is on this street in Dieppe, offering an incredible range of fresh produce, cheeses, seafood, and crafts made locally; it’s an unmissable local experience. It ranks among the very best in all Normandy, and rightly so.

A great piece of history and culture is the Château-Musée de Dieppe, which stands on the western cliffs, and although the climb is steep, it is very rewarding and it only takes 15 minutes. With great views over the town and the English Channel, this castle houses some very interesting exhibits in maritime history and art. Also, within a short walk are the beautiful churches of Saint-Jacques and Saint-Rémi, which present exquisite Gothic architecture.
